Food was good, but was very expensive for the level of service. Very little attention even though it was not crowded. Not a bad view though.

It's actually more like 4.5 stars. It's a very old school, glamorous steak restaurant. Classic in almost every way, down to the all male serving staff. A group of distinguished gentlemen, I must say! If you are a lover of steak and a carnivore, the place is a cool experience. The views are incredible (and I don't think they charge extra for a window seat) and the classic wood and burgundy color scheme is relaxing. The food: We ordered a lot! Bread service was so good, we had to stop ourselves from eating so much! It's served with garlic butter and (something I've never seen before) a side of 3 types of salt, smoked, Hawaiian and basic. We ordered two appetizers, oysters rockafella, which was good as expected and escargot. The escargot could have used a bit more garlic in the dipping butter, but it was interesting. It's served with a puff pastry on top. It wasn't bad. My husband ordered a Cobb salad. I like my greens on the darker side, but his salad was so gigantic, I ended up splitting it with him. (You'll see how big a half is in the pics). This isn't the type of salad I order, but it was very fresh and well prepared. I ordered the scallops with a side of Mac and cheese. They give you a lot of scallops! They were tasty, the Mac was great but I was very impressed with the grilled baby carrots! They were perfectly seasoned and not too firm. The texture was perfect. I really like the side of mixed veggies too. For desert we had crème brûlée. It was prepared table side. It was really lovely. Also, I had two of the best lemon drop martinis I've ever had! Anywhere! They use lemoncello in theirs. They also have raspberry and blueberry varieties. I chose the raspberry drop with a sugarless rim. It was the sumptuous balance of refreshing with a hint of sweetness. Plus it was pretty! The place could use a little bit of a "lift" design wise, even the special elevator that only goes to the restaurant was out of service. We just took the regular one. Nothing we had was negative. My faves were: bread service, my raspberry drop, Mac&cheese , the veggies and the desert. It's a solid date place.

Wow! This is the epitome of classic steakhouse! I've been to Vegas several times..always looking for great restaurants...this was a home run! Don't let the older hotel and building scare you...the ambiance doesn't look like the typical flashy Vegas...but think 1920's classy mob style! It's amazing! The view is epic and completely worth every minute of your time there! Then you get to the service...wait staff are adults that have been there for 10, 15, even 30 years! Their skills and experience are abundantly clear from the beginning to the end! And of course the food....steaks fired to perfection...sides are great compliments and desert is a must have! On top of this exceptional experience....the cost is fair and actually beats most other steakhouses! Do yourself a favor...go!!

Top of Binion's Steakhouse was originally known as "Top of The Mint" when The Mint tower was completed in 1965. The views from this steakhouse are beautiful. Located on the 24th floor, this gourmet restaurant is a step back in time with its vintage décor, and delicious food. We enjoyed salad, shrimp, bread, drinks, steaks, and delicious sides of mashed potatoes and mac n cheese. Everything was wonderful. Our servers were great as well and one of them has worked there for 40 years. He has seen everything and it was so nice to share stories. It was our second visit and we look forward to our third. Thank you for the delicious chocolate cake for our anniversary.

This is a fabulous restaurant off Fremont street. Across from the Golden Nugget in the Binion hotel and casino. We didn't have reservations, so we didn't know if we would be able to dine here. No reservations were available but we thought we would attempt to find a seat at the bar. Fortunately for us, it worked. We ordered some drinks while gazing out any window to give you an amazing view of Las Vegas. With the restaurant being on the top floor, you can see for miles and miles. I ordered the Ribeye (imagine that). It comes with the daily vegetable and picked the mashed potatoes as a side. Streak came out perfect to order and just melted in your mouth. The entire experience was perfect. If you want a great steak, but not the crazy prices of the big hotels on the strip, with a view that beats all of them. This is your place.

We had a memorable experience at Binion's Steakhouse and glad we stopped by. Fantastic view overlooking old town Vegas. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Romantic classy ambience. Perfect for date night. Let's dive into the food::: Sourdough bread::: Comes with meal. We are off to a great start. Oyster Rockfeller::: Excellent! A touch of seaweed was an excellent combination of flavoring. Lamb chops::: Well seasoned and not gamy at all. Well done! Prime Rib::: Delicious! Meat tender and just perfect. Definitely come back! Overall, excellent experience, and would come back for prime rib, service, and ambiance. Highly recommended!

The ambiance was great, overlooking Fremont Street. The service by Salvador was top notch, very attentive and quite a historian since he's worked at Binion's Steakhouse for decades. The bone in ribeye was perfectly cooked medium rare and mouth watering. The seasonal vegetables and loaded baked potato were a great pairing with good flavor. The only knock on Binion's was their Manhattan cocktail. They use house marinade bing cherries instead of luxardo cherries. The house marinated bing cherries were very good, but not quite enough to elevate the cocktail to where it needed to be. The flavor just wasn't there. Other than that particular cocktail, I'd recommend Binion's Steakhouse to others.

This was our 2nd time here, our first time maybe 12+ years ago on a special occasion meal. We do not come down to Fremont often, but I remember the special magic of this steakhouse. While the casino is run down, when you get to Top of Binion's it does not feel the same and you step into a vibe of an old school steakhouse with touch of elegance and old world Vegas. The views are really lovely from up here as well. The menu has all the traditional items you would want from a solid upscale steakhouse. Our table ordered the chicken fried lobster (yum) starter, Caesar salad, King Crab Legs, and a couple Filet Mignons. All of the food was prepared perfectly and really delicious. The server staff was very attentive ensuring we were well taken care of. I truly hope this gem survives what is happening in the hotel/casino below it as it is a piece of history that must survive that serves up great service and food!
